Well, I will be honest. I have to comfess something. After visiting Ierapetra, I just realized that I am not a fan of this city at all. I can’t really give a good explanation for that but it’s true.
I think most people likes Ierapetra for the beaches. You can also visit Napoleon’s residence in Ierapetra.
Personally, I wanted to visit the Chrisi island, also called Gaidouronisi (donkey island) which I was very excited about the idea. Unfortunately the day I arrived at the city the strong winds destroyed all my plans. Maybe next year!
However I met Riko the parrot! He told me all the secrets of Ierapetra and he also told me a nice place to have lunch.
